"You're not good enough for me. I've taken a mere brief glance at you and it was certainly enough for me to determine that I don't want anything to do with you, ever. Good luck."
"After reading your query and sample chapter for an uninterrupted ten hours, it comes down to this, you're not good enough for me but, good luck."
I've been forced to accept this type of communication from people I'd love to know, for a good 15 years. What could be worse? But, there is good news.
Today, a specific literary agent, that I researched and wanted, rejected me. It's not usually liberating to get rejected, but today it was. It's freeing me to do an entire re do of my query.
Re Do time.
Maybe that is what it takes to breakthrough? What do you think it takes to breakthrough?
My Facebook friends - aside from my sister/s/sis in-law and Betty (not counting my one boyfriend), you are my only friends. This virtual world really does it for me because I'm usually right here working and/or writing. This virtual world means that I can stay in touch with friends, like you. And I look forward to relating with you.
So shout out to all my Facebook friends, thanks for being my friend in good times and bad. You didn't even know it was a bad time until now, I bet.
