Today - the skies above will loudly be invaded by the Air Show and my windows, closed. Hey, wasn't our military, as recently as the debt ceiling debate, concerned about if and how they were going to be paid? And what does it cost for the (not so) Fair Show to happen this weekend?
Crowds gather, no matter, so let's put that money to better use and find options for celebration like having the brilliant people that made these brilliant (albeit costly) machines, give speeches. Or we could celebrate literacy or the recently uncovered Chicago Camp Douglas, did you know that after Andersonville, it was this country's second largest Civil War Prison Camp? Or, let's celebrate personal achievement and that involves the majority of us!
