I read this in Yahoo news this weekend and I copied, pasted it to share with you. I think the writer's feelings are simple and kind. I think this writer is enlightened. Congratulations! (I don't remember seeing your name?)
This is what I read:
I send my prayers and my sympathy to those that perished in the earthquake and tsunami aftermath. This disaster is catastrophic and with the millions of people in Japan that have survived, I have but one healing beginning. I request those in surrounding countries and inland areas to think about temporarily housing a family, as the reconstruction and clean-up process begins. Japan will feel that all of us everywhere have compassion for what has occurred. We are on earth to look out for one another as unified human beings. In Katrina many went to relatives and many were relocated into temporary housing including mobile homes and motels. It is overwhelming to see so many displaced...but I want Japan to know there is hope and love surrounding them now.

Well, my door is open for any Japanese family that needs help. We'll worry about where you'll sleep when you get here.
