A Pink BB Gun? Oy, No?

Yesterday a customer asked, "...in what department do you keep pink BB guns?"

"Oh," I replied, mildly curious, "what age do you want this pink gun for?"

"My daughter is six." Answered the customer.

"Since we don't carry BB guns in toys, I'll have to transfer you to sporting goods to see if we have it because all of our guns, including BB's are locked up in that department. And then of course she has to be of age to buy a gun but let's see what they tell you. Please hold while I patch this call toward sporting goods... (presto, customer is release to their phone.

And I'm left wonder, "Since when does a mother decide to get a lethal BB gun for her six year old daughter??
