Writing this morning, I'm finishing an article feature for a magazine I've sent over a dozen query letters to in the past decade. They were all rejected and this one, I hope not. That's all I've got to ride on is hope and I'm still trying? Well, other things I have in my favor, I've been writing lots more so my writing has to be improved. Maybe?
You could say, "She's crazy! Why doesn't she just give it up and do something else?" You could say, "Well, give her an A for effort." You could say, "She's so stupid, she's already been rejected too many times, what a fool." You could say, "Give it another decade, she's bound to get them to publish something." You could also say, "Leave her alone, she obviously enjoys doing it." You could view it any way you want.
"You've got more guts than brains," my father used to tell me.
Right now, listenening to "Slave," Just a Touch of Love, so old school, love it.
