"Part of the reason I wanna move back to the city is to go to some AA meetings," I said prior to moving. Since I'm free of the desire to imbibe (miracle) I don't doubt for a second that I'm a former alcoholic. I just haven't done it yet. Add to that not wanting to hear a room full of people talk about drinking, my push to get there isn't increased. But I know I should try it and I will after I send my first mass to a lit agent, lol, maybe before. My cousin is involved and we talk several times a week, so in a way I'm there.
This is what I would say everyday at an AA meeting, "My name is Sheila and I'm glad I didn't drink last night because today I feel great."
