Yesterday I said, "Thanks for calling, this is Sheila, can I help you?"

A man said, "Yeah. Somebody called me last week about a job but I couldn't get to a phone 'til now."

I paused and thought, "could't get to a phone 'til now?"

"Okay," I said, "Good luck, I'll ask the manager if he'll take the call."

"Thanks." He said. (!?)
