A Taste

Today I'm Not working on my memoir because I'm tired of the rejections and I want another taste of a publication. I would know - it's easier being published in say, a magazine, than it is by a literary agent/book publisher. I also know that rejections are part of the plan but I'm allowing myself a rejection break. Below is a sample magazine query, by me!

Noise pollution is different from what it used to be and it's different from other pollutants. Noise pollution is transient and tough to measure before the mostly emotional damage is done. But the good news is that we are capable of taking steps for a better, less noisy future - for our granchildren and our immediate well being.

That NOISE tells the reader of what constitutes as noise pollution and how that noise is really affecting you. Most importantly, it tells the reader of what we can do, including now, to erase this problem.

I propose: That NOISE

The completed article will be 1,000 words and can be delivered within two weeks.
