The Towel/The Flow

Nathan Bransford today critqued a page of (in my opinion) bad writing. Should this writer throw in the towel? The answer is no if she plans to continue to write (practice makes perfect) and yes if this is all she has.

OMG! What if people look at my writing and say, "she should really throw in the towel,"? Well, I considered that question and decided that no matter what anybody says or thinks, I won't. Because when I write/create, I'm 'in the flow'. For example, my sofa could be on fire, fire alarm sounding and cute fireman at the door, and I'd still be writing/creating. And I've spent an absurd amount of hours writing and plan to continue. So nope, this writer will never throw in the towel although if you don't like my writing, I may throw the towel at you.
